This planter was filled with little baby herbs on June 12, and here we are on July 25 with some incredible growth! Over the course of 1 and a half months, with minimal watering (once every 2-3 weeks), we’re left with these stunning results! Reference the photo on the left to see the history.

For our thrillers we have dill and pineapple basil in the back. The warriors you see in the middle as our fillers are basil, purple sage and parsley. It looks like we need to trim the basil a bit to give the parsley some more light! The spillers you see are thyme, savory, and some chives in the back.

The most impressive aspect of this growth is the heat it endured with such little watering (it’s been a HOT summer). This planter was only watered once every 3 weeks, an incredibly low maintenance project.

The planter is an Urban Vase – 41 in Blackstone.
