Soil Preparation
Soil Recommendations
Using The Correct Soil Is Vital For Success: A Soil-Less Growing Medium Is REQUIRED.

Specs To Strive For
(Ref. Pro Mx BX AGTIV REACH)
● Sphagnum Peat Moss (75-85%) - Min 60-65% peat moss is highly encouraged for best results.
● Perlite
● Calcitic and dolomitic limestone
● Wetting Agent
- DO NOT USE Generic, Bark/compost-based soil. This will interfere with the wicking system's operations and limit the performance of your investment.
Fertilizer Recommendations
Stay consistent and give your plants that extra oomph with a proper fertilization schedule. (Weekly/Bi-Weekly Schedule)

Granular Solution (First 60-90 days)
● Initial planting, top 2-3 in of soil to promote root establishment (see planting video for help)

Water Soluble Solution
● Pre Mix with water before, or pour right into the reservoir through the top cap! For an extra boost, general-purpose water-soluble plant food is an excellent (and efficient) source for superior bottom-feeding.

Plant Recommendations
Thriller, Filler, Spiller
Potato Vines; The Risk vs Reward: We recommend no more than (1) per container. They have invasive root systems, and could lead to a tougher clean out at the end of the season. Keep in mind that more than (2+) can lead to outcompeting and limiting the performance of your remaining flower selections, and increasing your watering/maintenance schedules.
We always recommend that you consult with your local nursery professional to ensure you are following the proper guidelines for the plants you select and other regional considerations.

Less is More. It is important not to overpack your container with plants. Too many will reduce the health of the plants and their ability to cascade over the sides of the planter. Check out our Planting Instruction PDF for more information.
